Spako has been producing cooking kettles since the 1950s. Through years of experience and innovation, we have developed a series of cooking kettles for cooking meat, vegetables, and potatoes and producing various products such as traditional soups and sauces. The kettles can be found in different food processing companies, including butchers, institutional kitchens, and soup and sauce producers.

Our cooking kettles are available in four basic designs. However, because of our flexible production method, we can quickly meet customer-specific requirements, which is why we also supply customized cooking kettles and turnkey production and cooking lines. Together with you, we ensure that the digester or production line is perfectly adapted to your situation.

Industrial boilers

A large butcher shop, mass kitchen, or food processing plant needs a digester that meets strict quality requirements. The quality and lifetime of the industrial kettle are essential, as it is used intensively. At Spako, we produce industrial boiling kettles with a unique burner at the bottom of the kettle that gradually heats up. Using this technology, the boiler will wear out less quickly, and you will save up to 20% in energy consumption.

Available in different versions

Cooking kettles 100 to 150 liters

The cooking kettles of 100 to 150 liters are compact, modern, and flexible in use. The kettles are often used in butcheries, gastronomy, industrial kitchens, and catering establishments. In our assortment, you will find the DWGV kettles. A round, double-walled stainless steel kettle with electric heating with a capacity of up to 150 liters. The double-wall is filled with odorless glycerine (thermal oil) and is suitable for various cooking processes, such as boiling hams and sausages in water and cooking soups and sauces.

Cooking kettles 500 liters

The boilers with a capacity of more than 500 liters are intended for production companies. The boilers are professionally designed so that personnel can work safely and efficiently with the boilers. These kettles are fitted with hoistable stainless steel baskets to remove the products from the kettle. The 500-liter cooking kettles are used for cooking meat, potatoes, vegetables, and pasta products.

The base kettle is single-walled and transfers heat directly to the water. These boilers are suitable for boiling water. We also produce this boiler double-walled, so it is possible to cook in other applications. In our range, you will find the RHP 350-700 and the RHI 750-3500. Both boilers are made of high-quality stainless steel and can be heated in three different ways.

Electric, gas, or steam-fired boilers

Each butcher or meat processing company has a different energy requirement. For some, a gas-fired boiler is attractive, while others prefer to cook electrically. At Spako, you can choose from electric, gas, or steam-fired boilers. Contact Gerard for more information about our cooking kettles.

Double-walled digester

The basic cooking kettle (single-walled) is used for cooking products in water, such as sausages, hams, or vegetables. A double-walled cooking kettle is a solution if the product burns easily, such as homemade soups and sauces. This kettle is fitted with a double-wall, filled with thermal oil. Heating is more gradual, and the products do not burn.

Used cooking kettles like new again

Preferably, we do not offer used but overhauled digesters. The boilers that qualify for this are selected in advance by our service staff. If we cannot rebuild them to a reliable and clean condition, the boilers are recycled.

All boilers we offer must be in technical order. Several boiler components are thoroughly checked: the piping, the inner boiler, and the drain cock are checked and, if necessary, repaired or replaced.
